Simon Fitzmaurice was an award-winning writer and film director. His films have screened at film festivals all over the world and won prizes at home and abroad.
Simon’s memoir, It’s Not Yet Dark, was a number one bestseller in Ireland and was published in the US by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in 2017. The book has also been translated into several languages, including German, Greek and Korean.
Simon Fitzmaurice sadly died in October 2017 after a long battle with Motor Neuron Disease.
