Sharon Lawless is a producer, director and writer living in Dublin. Most of her career has been in the media, apart from a few years running nightclubs (Hello Bono). Her TV series ‘Adoption Stories’ ran for seven years on Virgin Media Television and her book of the same name was published in 2016. She has spent five years on the case of Fr. Niall Molloy and her two-part documentary aired on RTE in September 2021, and the book, The Killing of Father Niall Molloy( Mirror Books), co-written with journalist Maresa Fagan, was published the following year. She is working on a feature film and documentary on the life of international rally driver Rosemary Smith whose memoir, Driven( Harper Collins) was published in 2018.
