Deborah Somorin is a management consultant, qualified chartered accountant and founder of Empower the Family Ireland, a non-profit which helps single parents pursuing a degree. Her memoir about growing up in care and the importance of ‘disruptors’, Believing in Me, is published alongside her children’s picture book I Believe in You. Both books were published by Gill Books in 2022.
