Bio
Bernard O’Shea is an Irish Writer, Comedian, and Broadcaster.
He is the bestselling author of two books – ‘My Wife is Married to a Feckin’ Eject’ and ‘Manopause’ and currently writes a popular weekly feature column for the Irish Examiner.Bernard is also a regular contributor and content provider across both digital and traditional media platforms.
A seasoned radio voice, Bernard co-hosted ‘Breakfast Republic’ on RTÉ 2FM for five years, following his time on iRadio Breakfast. He now contributes to ‘The Dermot and Dave Show’ on Today FM and regularly appears on RTÉ Radio 1.
On television,Bernard co-wrote,starred in, and produced the hit RTÉ comedy series ‘Bridget and Eamon’. More recently, he appeared on ‘Marty and Bernard:On the Road Again and Bernard’s Working Comics.’
Bernard has lent his voice and creative talents to national campaigns for Vodafone, Lidl, the National Lottery, McDonald’s and many other clients. He is also sought-after creative writer and copywriter, currently developing short-and long-form scripts with Shinawil Productions and Kite Entertainment.
